Hi, I’m Sarah.
Photographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller. Introvert behind the camera. And someone who believes the photographs you’ll treasure most probably won’t be the ones where everyone is looking at me.
I think Photography might run in the family
I’m not sure what first sparked my love for it.
Maybe it was my dad, who was always behind the camera documenting birthdays and family gatherings.
Maybe it was learning that my great-grandmother was a photographer, with a photo studio right inside her home.
Or maybe it was growing up alongside the internet and discovering how one image could make someone halfway around the world feel something.
I like to think it was all of those things woven together.
What I know for certain is that I’ve always been drawn to life as it’s unfolding — the laughter, the stillness and everything happening in between.
And somewhere along the way, I realized those are usually the moments worth keeping.

The Process
What it’s like to work together
First, we talk
Tell me what you’re celebrating, who you’re bringing and what you’re imagining. Already have the entire shoot planned? Great. Have absolutely no idea? Also great. We’ll figure it out together.
THEN, WE MAKE IT OFFICIAL
A 25% retainer reserves your date. From there, I’ll help with location, timing and the little details that make the session feel like you.
THEN, YOU SHOW UP.
That’s really it. You don’t need to practice poses or convince your kids to behave. Come as yourselves and I’ll take care of the photographs. You’ll receive sneak peeks within 48 hours and your full gallery within two weeks.

A few more details about
how I work
With a background in storytelling and design, I approach photography with intention, curiosity, and a touch of dreamy nostalgia.
I’ll step in when you need direction. I’ll tell you where the light is beautiful.I’ll give you something to do when suddenly having hands feels weird. But I’m not trying to manufacture perfect moments. I’m watching for the real ones. The glance. The movement. The kid who has absolutely had enough. The hand on your back. The laugh that happened after everyone thought the picture was over.
That’s the good stuff.
You don’t have to perform for me.
I’m an introvert at heart, which probably explains why I’ve never wanted to be the photographer shouting instructions across a room.
I’d rather observe. Give you a little direction. Then get out of the way. If you want perfectly arranged photographs and endless shot lists, I may not be your person. If you want your photographs to feel honest, lived-in, and unmistakably like you? We’ll probably get along.
